 I've built several systems with both the Cyrix 586 and 686 CPUs and 
been very happy with the result.  The old Cyrix 486's did earn that 
reputation 
as unreliable (they were from my experiences) but been happy I gave the new 
ones a chance for redemption.  Not a big fan of Intel.
