We are coming to the end of our cell phone contract, and my
wife has been told my some co-workers that a Digital cell
phone would be much better.
We live in Illinois, about 60 miles south west of Chicago,
and now use Ameritech Cellular.  I have been able to use my
cell phone through out the Midwest, and even in California.
My question is:  What about roaming?
Would a Digital cell phone work most everywhere across the
US?
I don't know what Digital system is used here, are any of
them compatible?
