Nancy, top of the morning to you !
NB> As I don't have any internet access Up North (no phone, actually), if
NB> I'm around, I'm back home.
How can you suffer this ?
NB> I hit the backup bbs's about as often as the primary one(s), which is
NB> usually daily, unless I'm away or extra busy otherwise. I grab the
NB> packets, and then, when I get time, I sit down and read and answer.
NB> BW is a lifesaver for that. :) All the *.QWK files I rename with the
NB> date incorporated into the name (like DOC0909a.qwk, or CHO0908b.qwk) so
NB> that the next one I get doesn't clobber the previous one. I actually
NB> have a utility that does it for me, which I've had for ages... :)
You are more dedicated than I on this. I hit the BU BBS only
to clean my "tagged" conferences so if the need comes, I do not
have zillionsss messages to wade through. I keep it up to date
weekly at best, this way, there is no need to be as fancy as you
are and renaming ( dating ) .reps.
NB> Sounds like a big job. :) But necessary, unless one is into the
NB> "sleeping beauty's castle" look...
The hedge is 80' long and is made up of chinese elms, they
grow like weeds and some will gain 1'/week, I filled up two large
garbage cans this time vs one for the ivy cuts.
JP> ... Tried my new radial saw, yesterday.
JP> ... Still have my ten fingers.
NB> Congratulations...!!
I am so careful now after "touching" my left hand with a
running chaisaw a few years ago. I got aware that my reflexes are
not what they used to be, 75.
Give me an addy and I will show you the little dingy that I
made for a grd'son. Hit me at handcuff36 at gmail dot com.
... OK, guys, the *ac is a fine machine.
... Just the users are different.
