Hey folks,

I am planning on adding a couple of budgies to my life and was shopping
around for cages.  None of the cages at the pet stores in my area look
suitable (most look waaay too small) so I started looking online.  The
problem with looking online, though, is that you don't get to actually
see the cage before shelling out the cash.  Pictures don't always do it
justice and sometimes a feature you take for granted (like
outside-access food dishes) might not be included because you forgot to
check.  So I decided to ask for a little advice.  Do you guys know of
cages online you'd recommend?

I live in a small apartment, but have set aside a fairly large area for
a cage.  Ideally, I'd like to have a friendly, interactive, talking
budgie, but I have a full-time job and am aware that I may not be home
enough for the birds to bond with me.  For this reason I'm putting the
bird's comfort above everything when looking for a cage.  I am planning
on getting one budgie at first and getting a second one after the first
is trained (or I've given up on training), so the cage should be big
enough to comfortably house two birds.  Size is my main concern.  I've
heard that cages should be longer than they are tall, but those seem to
be hard to find.  Features that I've heard of that sound helpful are
horizontal bars, outside-access dishes, and drawbridge-style doors.
I've put a tenative limit of $150 for the cage.  That seems like plenty
to me, but if I find a great cage that's more expensive I'll consider
it.

So, anything you'd recommend?
