Of course, as I was just using DOS, I wasn't trying to run multiple
programs... or, if I was, I was using the desktop and the laptop...  
ISTR that some of my packets back then took MORE than 30 minutes, too...
GENEALOGY often packed upwards of 500 messages... :)

I can see where it would make life easier for the sysop, though... :)
