Ok, Ok... forget my earlier post where I said it didn't sound like I
needed TSE Jr/2. That IS an impressive list, especially when I
got down to the upgrade price. $50 gets me the newer version for DOS AND
my first OS/2 version? Cool!
Now, what's the sysop deal mentioned in the press release?
Also: Does TSE/Jr allow recursive macros yet? I know that when I tried
to do them in 2.15 QEdit warned me that they weren't implemented yet.
Something like this (done via the Macro Learn).
Search for pattern
When found
.home cursor to start of line
.cursor right 10 spaces
.Mark block of 5 characters
.delete block
.cursor to end of line
.hit delete to join lines
.end of subroutine
Continue search
This isn't exactly (or even close) to what I was trying to do but it
should give you the idea. I used macros like this in Wordperfect
5.0/5.1 for years and miss them in QEdit.
