My modem seems to have gone dead. One day my logs show a garbled response
from the modem and ever since it won't connect with anything. I tried
resetting it to factory defaults and everthing. After many attempts I can
not get it to connect with anything, although it does respond to AT commands
and dial just fine.
Anyway, I live in Ottawa Ontario (Canada) and I was wondering how I would go
about getting the modem replaced. These modems to have a 5 year warranty
don't they?
I have borrowed an 28.8 Accura from a friend so sending it back is not a
problem.
By the way, my modem is one of the original Optima 288 VFC modems that has
since been upgraded with the kit to an Optiman 288 V.34+VFC.
