I wrote this a couple years ago that shows how to set up Maximus (DOS
version) with GameSrv and NetFoss.

Since then the gamesrv screens look a bit different but the batch file
samples should help.  I also use binkd for my mailer.  I've got a bunch of
doors running with no issues.  

When you get NetFoss, make sure you get the latest version. For years it
would crash if you did a binary transfer (zmodem, xmodem etc).. I think in
the past year that was fixed.  My website doesn't reflect that fix yet.
