Well I think I will have to correct this info. Using board preamps only
serve to color the signal as well as add noise. The best splitter to use
is commercially available (or you can build one) using Jensen transformers
for (passive) which are by far the most superior.
 TS> tend to think that's a less good choice where avoidable.
