Because another non-RPI aware DOS comms program does not have the
interface to the TSR, but to either a FOSSIL or to the port direct
 ER> would be a problem with the TSRs installed and run Telemate.
Telemate for DOS is not RPI aware (even with the Tradewind DOS RPI
TSR loaded)  If there's a Telemate for Windows, which communicates
either via a .dll or .vxd, then it would with the appropriate RPI
driver loaded
