Yes, I forgot some details.... like the fact I was trying to look at the 
COMMO.LOG file when COMMO wanted to open it and record the transfer.
List opens files in SH_DENYNO(NE) mode.  You appear to be using standard 
comaptibility because I got a "Share violation, Abort, retry, fail?" message 
in the commo window.
