Hi! I've opened two tickets for the bugs I found and my patches to fix them at husky's sourgeforge page a while ago, but haven't seen any feedback yet. Currently I'm working on a new feature for htick to rename duplicates. It's going to be an additional configuration switch for fileareas. At the moment htick simply overwrites files which got the same name (default action). With the "noreplace" switch set the new file will stay in the inbound directory and the TIC is renamed to "bad". In some cases it makes more sense to rename duplicate files, i.e. to add some kind of identifier to the filename. My idea is something like this: - for DOS style names: file.zip -> file.z01 - for long filenames: long-name.tar.gz -> long-name.01.tar.gz What do you think about the renaming method? Is there any better one? Regards, Markus ---* Origin: *** theca tabellaria *** (2:240/1661) SEEN-BY: 3/0 633/267 640/954 712/0 550 848 @PATH: 240/1661 1120 2432/200 280/5003 464 712/848 633/267 |
