Because unless you instruct FrontPage to do toherwise, it transmogrifies
imported html into the "Front Page Way", which is non-standard,
bloated and difficult to edit.

If you want to see real bad html code, open up a document in Microsoft Word
and save it as a web page...then open up in a text editor.

Long ago I stopped accepting submissions from folks for various web pages
who created html with Microsoft Office....life is too short to edit it.

www.baltimoremd.com/streetcar/thirdcharm/thirdcharm.htm is an example of
Microsoft Word created html....take a look at the source.
