Tom...
TW{at}> Actually the suggestion to use the Pay Internet site if posable is a
TW{at}> better option. Yuo may have to buy the boks online as most Libraries
TW{at}> may not have them.
Normally, once you buy a study guide, IT'S YOURS...no refunds. With
Ham Test Online, if after adequate study time and practice tests (I
recommend 2 hours a day for 2 weeks), one still fails the exam...they
provide proof of the failure (a CSCE noting that "no license was earned"),
and their 2 year subscription will be cancelled, and their money refunded.
Only about 1% of all who've signed up have asked for a refund.
For me, going from Technician to General in 14 days, and to Amateur
Extra 13 days later, it was the BEST MONEY I ever spent in ham radio.
I may have said it before, but even I was amazed at how it prepared me
for the exams.
