Ross, you can say what you like, but it is obvious that you practice a double
standard here. There are many other posts in this echo, not made by me, which
have an indisputable religious overtone to them, and yet no one else has
gotten the axe but me.

You have purposely tied my hands, so that I cannot fully and freely express
myself as I wish. If someone here were to quote from a famous historical
personage or document, you would have no problem with it. If someone were to
quote from a medical journal, you would have no problem with it. If someone
were to quote from a scientific paper, again, you would have no problem with
it. In each case, the person is quoting from that source, because they view it
as being authoritative in that particular area. I use the Bible in much the
same way to validate my points, because it is an authoritative historical and
religious document. You are practicing discrimination plain and simple.

As an example, Tom has clearly been preaching the Christian Gospel message
concerning the Messiahship of Jesus Christ -- and I applaud him for it -- and
yet you have done nothing to slap him down. You told me not to preach; yet Tom
is allowed to preach with impunity. That is a double standard. Either apply
the rules the same to everyone, or don't apply them at all.

No Ross, I'm not whining; I'm just pointing out your clear hypocrisy, and your
obvious bias against a Christian, namely me!

It seems to me that the only fair thing to do is to either totally prohibit
the discussion of any religious topics, no matter how small, or to swing the
doors wide open, in which case you would probably end up with HOLYSMOKE II.

I have tried to abide by your rules here, but when I see other people getting
away with things that I am not allowed to do, it clearly shouts "double
standard!" to me.

It's your echo; do as you wish; but please don't think that I am buying into
your impartiality game, because I'm not. Oddly enough, you seem to have the
very same problem in the other echo that you moderate. You haven't been
impartial there either.
