Hi!
CT>Why do they want to stone non-protestant Christians, or Catholics?
ET> Because, in their twisted minds, anyone who isn't Christian (by
ET> their very narrow definition, which in fact excludes many
ET> Protestant sects) deserves to die... The scary thing is that
It doesn't sound very Christian to me if they pass judgement on
others with a death sentence.
ET> these nuts were part of the the "intellectual backbone" (both
ET> words applied loosely) of the conservative Christian movement in
ET> the 1980s. Of course, not a lot of people took the time to look
ET> over what they wrote, not even people *in* that movement - which
ET> was rather ironic, because Evangelical Christians, a strong
ET> faction in that movement, were one of the "unacceptable"
ET> religious groups suitable for stoning.
I haven't got anything against Evangelists but I just wish
that they wouldn't fake that they can heal serious ailments
(smacks of blasphemy) or that God has spoken to them personally
(smacks of being a false prophet) or they need tons of money
for their mansions and Rolls Royces (smacks of profiteering).
Billy Graham seems to have remained true to his calling
and at least has avoided serious scandals.
Say, this radical sect isn't part of the Millennium Group is it? :-)
