Hi Gail!
GC> I'm fine... I've been keeping busy working on a hardanger piece, just
GC> putting the finishing beads on it today. Hopefully I'll complete it
GC> today and send it out the owner for next week. I hope she likes what
GC> I've done.
Isn't it is nice to get project finished? I am done now with the
hand towels for my sister. I have three placemats still to finish
and then her gift for Christmas next year will be done.
Well if the owner doesn't like what you have done the you just punch
her okay..... and tell her to do it herself.
GC> I'm so glad to hear that you will be closer to your son! even if
GC> living at home fulltime doesn't work out.
Well what ever works out will be okay with me. Just living in the
same town will be great. John is already planning on going to the Y
with him to swim and play basket ball.
GC> Enjoy him while you can, they grow up so fast!!! My youngest are now
GC> 16!!
Yeah they do grow up fast and Matthew who is now 13 1/2 who thinks
he is fourteen. Yesterday we both had a good fight. Too much
tension around here trying to get dad dowon to Sioux Falls for the
job. Will be glad when he is down there and settled in. He starts
tomorrow so we should be okay in a couple of days....
GC> As for Emblishments, I'm on row three. I've got a couple of other
GC> projects I'm working on so it has taken a back seat lately.
Well I hope that you don't get too far behind. How long before you
girls will be done with this project?
GC> I don't even want to think about how many times I've ripped this row
GC> out! I think I got a "keeper" done now, just add the second color and
GC> get the alphabet done. Maybe this weekend? I don't know... we will
GC> see.
Isn't it terrible when you know how it should go and then when you
try it is has a different look and doesn't go right. I know that
that one would have been too much of a challenge for me... I am
having a enough trouble with Storyteller. Not in the stitching
just keeping going on it.... Now Bonnie probably has it almost done.
I can't wait to get it done....
take care and have some fun!
PP> Well I am glad that everyone is having so much fun with the
PP> sampler... Have you all discussed another stitch along for the next
GC> Yes, a canvas one by a Canadain designer but I don't remember her
GC> name. I'll send the info along to you when I'm on the internet and
GC> remember to send it :-(
GC> I bought two new small beading needles and I've lost them already....
GC> the regular ones never disappear because they are so long, but those
GC> itty bitty ones have legs :-) no biggy, go spend another buck for a
GC> couple more!
GC> I'm busy making ribbon earrings too! So I can't say I'm bored but I'm
GC> almost over busy!!!
GC> Have you started the Dawn Lewis sampler yet? I would like to do that
GC> one too I think..... you mentioned that you had mailordered for the
GC> material and floss...
GC> Are you any closer to the Spirit of Cross Stitch shows? I would love
GC> to go to one! Perhaps I can plan a holiday around one some year...
GC> Bonnie Wag goes to one with Aggie and Vikki every year!
PP> I will and thanks for your friendship!
GC>
GC> Ditto
