I think the teacher should have warned the parent in this case.  She
knew the potential exsisted for problems but, since it's long gone, no
harm done. One of my Girl Scouts had epilepsy but one of her parents
would always volunteer as a chaperone so I had no worries there. I also
knew what to do "JIC" but never had to.

Funny, you would think girls would panic more than boys.  Was it a front
tooth?  Rachel lost both of her front, top teeth just before her first
grade picture was taken.  When I got it back a couple of months later, I
found she had kept her mouth shut so I didn't have a picture of her gap.
I was out for several hours yesterday afternoon so Deborah made supper.
Steve suggested a microwave meatloaf; I don't know all of what she put
in it, she didn't tell me.  But, I guess she had started to experiment
and Steve nipped it in the bud. (G)  As she was mixing some of the stuff
with a wire whisk, he came in and said "Mom doesn't do it that way."
She has this attitude "I'm not mom!" and told him "mom may not but I
do!"  Anyway, it tasted pretty good so I guess she didn't go too far out
on it. (G)
