i just spun up a brand new Ubuntu Server 18.04 and installed this latest sbbs
CVS code on it so i could get back operational after losing my OS/2 system... i
wish i had had time in the past to play with other BBS packages... i might have
gone with something else but i think the FOSS aspect of synchronet is a big
factor... that and i understood some of its operation better...

good luck with your situation :)
