Ironically, religion is almost effectively banned in many
workplaces and schools and universities.  Regulation would
almost be a step up. :-)

Before you laud paganism as everyone dancing around trees
naked and covered with mud and otherwise having a great time,
it wasn't all that great for "equal" rights either.

Nearly all of them practiced some form of human sacrifice.
Remember that caveman they found in the glacier on the Swiss
border?  He was killed in a ritual manner and it sure wasn't
Christian.

It's funny that you bash eurocentric societies and celebrate
immigrants coming in and bringing their value systems.
Check out how women are treated in the countries these
people came from.  No wonder middle class women are
rushing to their protector, GW Bush. :-)  Good going!
