 TL> I had a question ref GIGO....apparently the echo(which was a

i've had him send me a new key at times when i've needed it... i need to
contact him about another one and the one that allows me to turn off the
fastreturn stuff... i had one some time back but that was evidently for
another host name...

TL> I was trying to solve a problem....years ago I used netmgr to

yes, i saw your message over in the netmgr echo but haven't had time to
respond to it...

TL> FD2FTP dies under Windows XP Pro....so I'm back to having to
TL> find a solution. If you use netmgr to move the stuff, can you
TL> tell me the proper statements for the .cfg file?

i do use netmgr but i don't recall using it to move stuff to pkt... i've
been using the MAIL2DIR tool that mats and joho released... it pulls MSGs
and stuff from FD's netmail directory and static queue and puts them in a
specified directory... however, i'm looking at my stuff now because i do
use something to make this stuff available to GIGO...

[time passes]

boy, that was a trip thru history ;) anyway, i have my tosser configured
to not pack PKTs to the gateway address... it just leaves them as PKTs
whereever it puts them... then i run the MAILSCAN tool that came with
GIGO... it reads the MSGs in FDs netmail folder and locates the ones
addressed to the gateway with the PKT attached to it... then it moves the
PKT to the special outbound directory i have GIGO configured to look for
the PKTs in... after that, i just run GIGO and it grabs the outbound PKTs
and works its majik on them...

i've thought about using netmgr to do this but just haven't taken the time
to do so... i've also thought of using another of two other programs i use
here to do this but, again, just haven't taken the time to do so...

TL> Apparently you are still having prblems receiving the robot's
 TL> mail

thanks... i've just commented out the IP address for eclipse (seems that
SMTP-OK doesn't do IP numbers) and now only have the domain name (wonder
what happens when rDNS doesn't work to get the domain name?)... lets see if
that works... if not, then that part of the SMTP.OK stuff is broken and
that's not a good thing...

please try to send something from elistin to my wmf address and lets see if
i've gotten that ruleset straight now... oh yes... i've also changed it to
a 550 instead of 551 but i doubt that that is the problem... if it is, its
a surprise!
