Is this Cosmo party anything to do with Cosmopolitan magazine?
Meeting Cosmopolitan readers is hardly a technique I'd use as a man to
meet a woman whose going to look after me. It's like a woman going out
with men she meets while judging them for release in the parole board
of a serious sexual offender's unit.
Sure, there was an article in a (spring 1985? if memory serves) edition
which was jealously stating that men who go out with women who actually
want them for the traditional relationship (unlike the feminists who
wanted them as "equals", but couldn't find any men up for it,) would be
sorely disappointed when the "man wants to take time out to write a
book" hahahahaha! I wonder where those feminists are now? Oh that's
right, they were Lesbians trying to talk women into giving up their
childbearing years, just to upset men, but THEY didn't have the ethics
they were born with, so they got themselves up the stick and now watch
as their mates frantically try to prevent themselves becoming barren.
Hmmm. Go out with women whose magazines describe how brilliant they are
and they owe you nothing for "your committment to the family together,"
because it's only right that you support your child and its mother,
even if they're in your house, it's not yours but it's illegal to prove
it, and you're shacked up in a bedsit, because "she lived on her own
for so long, she kind of prefers it to being with you, and she's
changed her mind about marriage now she has a baby."
I'd rather date Mary Ann Cotton at a drinks party. Frankly.
As for Cosmo party, I'd change their name if I was them. It's like a
jew being invited to a "work makes you free convention"; or a cambodian
being taken to a year zero party; A slumber party on Elm Street;
Everything you wanted to know about forced paternity but were afraid to
ask; The Bourne Alimony;
Don't you just love feminism? You work all day repairing the roads the
feminists drive on and heating the buildings they criticise you
comfortably from, just so you can be allowed to pay three quarters of
your tax on single mothers.
