Well, I'm royally screwed!

There was a college course that was supposed to start in January and
which I had signed up for but which was cancelled due to lack of
response.  It was rescheduled for the 15th of April.  This put me in
a tight spot because my benefits were slated to run out at the end of
March.  Nonetheless, I went to Emploi Quebec and did the paperwork to
have my benefits extended for the five months the course would run
and was processed without any problem.  I was told that there would
be that two week gap between end of benefits and start of course, but
that I would just have to keep making my claims and the systems would
pick up payments.  I even went to the orientation class for the April
session even though I didn't have to and I was told then that things
were looking good.  

Then yesterday, when the organizers were to make the final decision
about the course, I was told that it was cancelled again.  Emploi
Quebec wouldn't ensure benefits to enough other prospective students
that some who had signed up had to drop out.  

I am not a happy camper.
