Frank, if you can get to the Usenet Message Groups, you can find 72 pin 4
meggers as low as 5 bucks each. I just purchased 2 non EDO 4 meggers for
$12.60. As far as the 30 pinners, you are not so lucky on those prices.
Some people seem to think they are still worth what they were a year ago.
You have to look hard, but you WILL find some VERY good deals out there.
You may want to act as quickly as possibly when it comes to memory though.
Since the Korean Economy has taken a dump, it's projected that memory prices
could jump as much as 40% within the next month. I just got done playing the
"Hunt for memory" game and found that the lowest prices in the USA belong to
a man in Texas. His name is Felipe of La Plaza Sales Inc.
His number is (956) 542-0536. I just picked up two 16 meg Non-EDO 60ns Simms
for $49.00 from him. Check him out. And be sure to mention my name and that
I quoted these prices to you. BTW, I am not on his sales staff either. I
live in Ohio. I was just VERY please with the way he deals with his
customers, not to mention his prices.
Hope this helps you or anybody else that reads this!
