22 ibm midi sequencer software programs were tested by me
for their ability to record and playback midi data accurately.
Of the 22 programs, 15 failed and 7 passed.

In addition; The Media Player that comes with Windows 3.1,
by Microsoft, was also tested, but for midi playback only, as it
is not a midi recorder.

message requesting it, the article containing the test results will
be posted here. The testing method will be described, and the test
results are repeatable, so the test results can be verified.
