->Weather map looks like you'll get a chance to 'exercise' the plow machine! Yup. Got it gassed up and ready to go. Shouldn't be all that bad. We can deal with a foot or so without a lot of grief. Two feet is more trouble. Three feet is a mess. Looks like two feet at this moment. With the holiday, it shouldn't be too bad. If I can, I'll take some photos and post 'em on the Chowdanet web site.. The 1978 blizzard was a Big Problem. We got 3-4 feet in not much longer than 24 hours. It was on a normal work day, a Monday. Hadn't been a storm like that in anyone's memory. I was lucky and got home. Took three hours to do what's normally a 20 minute ride, but I made it. Had to sneak through a "buses only" tunnel to do it, but I figured it'd be worth the ticket if I got one. Made it ticket-free.. Anyhow, I'm at work now, and will be heading home in a couple of hours. The 4x4 Blazer and coarse tread tires works.. Heard from Elvis lately? Been a long time since I've heard from him. -c- --- ViaMAIL!/WC v1.60d* Origin: Chowdanet (401-331-0615) telnet://chowdanet.com (1:323/120) SEEN-BY: 633/267 270 @PATH: 323/120 123/500 106/2000 633/267 |
