Nope, cause in the Navy they only make the long cooking real stuff ;-)  Costs
less and you'd be feeding possibly thousands.  There's another reason too.  I
was told it stores better and on a ship, that can be important.  Instant rice
over time will apparently soak up water from the air and get even worse than
fresh instant (the mind boggles at it being even worse!)
