You're not reading the various flags.... such as ITN and IBN, and the DNS
entry in the system name field, per the nodelist flag specs....

Bo is more up on this than I am at this time.  I haven't had time to really
play with the port in over a year.  I believe Bo got the mex bug fixed,
along with some of the TTY issues.  When the current job finally ends I
should have a little time to check it out....  But that is still a few
months away....
