The folks that should be worrying are Sun, the only major vendor not =

revenue is down 15.3% from last year.  UNIX servers in total are down =
12.9% from last year.  It's not clear from the web page whether UNIX =
includes linux.  It doesn't matter much since the total linux server =
revenue is less than the decrease alone in UNIX revenue from last year.

  servers.

  Especially don't tell that to Dell Computer, which enjoyed by far the

  In a report just released by IDC, the total number of servers shipped =

  quarter of 2003, up 29.5 percent from the 132,500 Linux servers sold =
