I skipped over those.  Same with p1 and p2 back when they were all the
rage.  I did own one k6-2 (amd) but didn't care much for it.  At that time
the 486 was still my goto machine although I still had access to sparc's so
that could explain why I was in no rush to upgrade on the home base.

These days the home based ones run circles around ye olde sparc stations.
