You are going the right way to start an argument, but then again when you
were letting off steam, you forgot something and that is guns were designed
for one thing in mind and that is to kill, but cars were not designed to
kill, even those they do kill.
   
And just because people own guns, won't prevent you from killing someone
with that gun, in other words not everyone is a do gooder just because they
own a gun.
