Thanks, Fred.
I'm having a frustrating problem. I took a copy of {commo} in to the office
to show some folks and I can't get it running. The symptom is this: when I
connect with another modem, or sometimes even before - when I just poll the
modem's registers - the display slows down to a crawl (o n e c h a r a c t
e r a t a t i m e) and displays garbage. I have to exit {commo},
power the modem off and on, and most of the time, reboot the computer to fix
it. It's happened on two different computers, with two different brands of
modems. Both are 386sx's, with lpt1 redirected to com1 for a printer switcher
and the modem on com2. The two machines have nothing else in common, other
than {commo}. I put one of the modems, and the same {commo} executable and
*.set file on a third machine and I didn't experience it. hfc is set to
auto, sfc to off. Procomm works normally on both machines.
Any thoughts?
