US/Canada couriers, are the best for our lines because our standarts (if
they are used in ATS) are very close to yours, here for example I really
don't need to set up a BUSY and DIALTONE signals (it is true for my line),
also these modems have better analogue part, International modems for
example look bad on our lines, and specific european modems are the worst
choise (They modifired for local standarts).

The only thing that US/canada modems hasn't is the programming control of
transmittion/receiving unit, but I use our local firmware, it is not
supported by USR but it has many usefull features, such as. 1. 100% BUSY
cathing
2. programming control of transmittion/receiving unit 3. V90 without
USR/3COM activation key 4. Russian Automatic Number Detection 5. CallerID
6. Voice functions (handling standart USR voice commadns, and operations)
7. Adaptive answer
8. Better fax receiving/transmitting etc.

So I decided to lost USR support.
