The level of elitisim contained in your reply is quite extraordinary. The
simple facts are that you are both only partly right. GDI printers generally
are not able to be networked as their drivers are not installable through
control panel and the driver is only accessible through the software program
devised for the particular printer. It so happens that Canon have gone to
the trouble of including an installation routine for both standalone and
networked setups. I found this out by following up through a dealer and
reading the manual.
Unfortunately my printer doesn't have such an install program but for the
price ($399)it is great as it produces flawless print quality and around
pm.
