Utterly ludicrous.

In which case it is obviously not fully portable.  ISO C guarantees
complete source code portability to any compiler on any platform that
follows the standard to the letter.  It is common sense that any source
code that deviates at all from the standard is unlikely to fulfill this
guarantee of full portability.  Of course whether or not this is a problem,
or could be a problem, is up to the developer(s) to decide or forsee (or
just guess).

All the more reason to start pointing.  You've got the software already,
and I even sent you a set of configuration files.  You really have no
excuse.
