In MSGED, fstat() is called a few times (instead of stat).  Is there any
disadvantage in converting all these calls to stat()?  SAS/C 5.1 for
Amigados doesn't have fstat().  In fact, neither does Pacific C. But they
both have stat().  BFN.  Paul.
