churches, have already seen the worst that you elitist
more-enlightened-than-thou types can dish out.  They've been exposed,
if you consider exposure to be the relentless media assault against
them.  They're apparently not impressed, since they continue their
activities in spite of your mouth-frothing protests.  They are also
private organizations, meaning they can freely give to whomever they
like, if they give at all.  If you can name a so-called patriarchal
church that has offered to explain its balance sheet to YOU, do tell.
