I never bothered to look up a hard copy, in book form, being that
several sites on the web have St. Malachy's list posted.  Even before
the internet, newspapers would publish the list each time a pope died.
After all, the list has been in the public domain for centuries.  :)

Many authors, such as Lindsay (The Late Great Planet Earth) and LaHaye
(The Left Behind series), look for the Antichrist to come onto the world
scene as a politician. There is even a rumor floating about the internet
that George W. Bush is the Antichrist. However, the Antichrist would
have to come onto the world scene as the "Messiah", rather than a
politician, according to the Bible.

An interesting aspect concerning the time frame was presented on
the satansrapture web site.  Israel became a nation on May 14, 1948.
A generation can be considered as being 70 years.  1948 + 70 = 2018.
The year 2018 in our calendar = 5778 in the Hebrew calendar.  That
is to say, the year after 5777 is completed.

If 666 represents imperfection, what does 777 represent?
