I believe that Ubuntu is a flavor of Linux.  If so, then you could still
run BW.  My travel computer (ASUS EeePC) has linux on it and I run
Bluewave inside of a DOSBOX.  Works quite well, albeit slightly
different.

I take it that you are using NNTP on Ross' Eastern Star. Pretty good
