i suppose that may actually be how this works when one uses a blocking rule
to start with and then has allow rules following... as stated in another
message, apparently the GIGOSMTP engine doesn't block on IP numbers but
only on domain names... i believe i have taken care of that by putting in
both for the elistin system... now if he can get stuff working via email
again, we'll be able to test it and see...
