G'day all, 
        I am hoping againts the odds that there is someone out there that has
        information / parts for this old beast. Hewlett Pacard model 1740a 
        100 meg. dual trace ,delayed sweep cro. I am after circuit diagrams/
        knobs/instruction manual ( not so important) to reserect this ex army
        beasty ... Hopfully a lot cheaper than the price of an equivalent unit

        Yes I have tryed H.P. withthe usual reasoning that anything over 7-10
        years old is not supported so " you will upgrade to a new unit " . 
        Quite frankly not many people can afford to ! If you can help , please
        post MSG. for me : if you want to tell me what to buy or do...don't..
