Yes but who will stand around and look at it happen? That is why
there are not many virus but there was a torjens back in the days
before EGA that would burn out the mono monitors. But it was a
easy fix, you replace the horz. out put transistor. And by the
way decreasing the scaning freq. will cause a monitor to burn out
faster as the horz. transistors duty cycle genrates more heat at
the lower freq, (uses more power).
