Sorry to disillusion ya but RAM is on the way back up... my dealer (whom I
purchased 2x4M off of for $199 2 weeks ago has had 4 price rises (small
rises, but rises nonetheless) since then, and is now selling 2x4M at
$226...

Prices on Parity ram have jumped much more than those for non-parity.
As long as demand is there, the manufacturers can ask what they want for
the stuff... nothing you can do about it.
