My understanding of that ",t" in the outfile was 'save text _only_'.

I use:  outfile   c:\matt\nt\a

That results in the complete message being saved with header.  Just 
now I ran an ALT+W on Jerry's last message, then hit , and typed 
PRN, and it came out of the printer as:  (without the quote marks)

Looks fine here on this ancient 1.99L!

BTW, that "a" filename in my outfile is just an 'incorrect
keystroke' protection.  If I forget to type the specific filename for each
'save', 
I get the 'append or overwrite' prompt rather than the bit-bucket, and 
it only involves a single backspace to clear it when I hit the 'correct' 
keys.  You'd be surprised how large that file "a" has become.   :-(
