If my children were attacked, I would defend them to the best of my
ability. If my life was threatened, I would defend myself. If my
husband's life was threatened, I would assist him in his defence of
himself, though as he's much bigger and stronger than me, I'm sure he
wouldn't need my help.
If my country was attacked, I would defend it to the best of my
ability. But let's see. I have no familiarity with guns and even though
I'm a relatively strong woman, I'm still physically weaker than most
men. I might be of some use in positions other than combat, frankly, I
don't know, never having tried.
If you're skilled at combat, and the cause is something you believe in,
then there's your decision made for you. If you want to feel
self-righteous and throw out "go back to the kitchen" snipes, then I
hope at least it's enjoyable for you - it's certainly not original,
effective or educational.
