Hi guys, (Paul and Andrew)

Whoops, i meant fgetchar(). In Borland it is portable to all platforms,
that compiler caters for, but is not ISO C or C++.
Anyway, what i was on about was that it's not impossible for a compiler
to have a function which would work correctly on all platforms, and
not be ISO, so even though it would be a portable function between
platforms, it wouldn't be portable between compilers.

Sorry about answering like this, but 635/544 is going to close this weekend
so i'm on the other BBS now, and a beutiful start it is too, had to
resend part 4,5,6 of fatread.c because the BBSs mailer didn't find the
messg area "union REGS regs;" ;-( &| :-)
