You really should be using the current version, not just because of the
enhancements, but as a "beta-tester" as well.  I can't see much
point in requesting new features if you're not making use of 3.05's current
ones (and which 2.2e never even had).  However, if you intend waiting until
it is 100% perfect, don't bother upgrading at all.
