and if you read a bit better, i've already stated on several occasions that
i have echomod... heck, you've even complained to me that updates from /it/
have jammed up your system...

also, i don't see echomod as robot software... at least i didn't... i do
know, however, that is is very poorly designed and desperately needs
additional work...

because the robot is broken, that's why... and because my system(s) that
that stuff is on cannot see files that are not 8.3 from DOS... and because
i've /never/ tried to submit any rules files in anything other than 8.3
format...

just as it amazes me that when someone is told of a problem, the messenger
is wrong, complaining or has caused the problem being reported when in fact
they are just a messenger... yes, i've found at least two problems with the
echolist robot... i've detailed these problems to you yet i'm complaining
rather than you getting the author to fix them... yet, i'm in the wrong and
i'm the bad guy... i'm expected to feed broken data to broken software and
that will make everything come out all right... yeah... ummhunh... i've got
some beautiful lakefront property to sell ya, too...
