There are a few ways to avoid running a macro. One, just don't
run it! This means, search for references to its' label and
change the appropriate gosubs, golooks, etc. If its' label is
a key code, you may want to change it.
The easiest way to keep Fred's code intact without it getting in
the way is to make a backup of COMMO.MAC, then carve up
COMMO.MAC to your heart's content.
