You need to look a little closer... and to pick up another file at
Waldo's... :) Read the readme.txt, it explains things a little better.
And the Wizard tells me that you also need another program, CHANGE13.ZIP
which will do some of the magic on the BW file. You will be using one
of the .Bat files (which one depends on whether you have a 16bit or
32bit BW door) on the BWMAIL.EXE file for your BW door, and it calls for
the change command to do the fix. He put it up at Waldo's, if you can't
find it there, I have a copy of that on my machine, too...

The batch files work on both the reader and the door executable file,
there is one change at the end of each of them that only is for the
reader... but if you use it on the door, it just ignores that bit...

He only did the Telegard door, but the fix would work on any of the
BWmail.exe files, the only rub for him was that to get* that particular
file for each of the doors, he would have had to install the door to
some extent, just to get that file out to run the fix on it, so he
decided to leave that for people who would already have the door, for
any of the other bbs packages...

Of course, this doesn't affect your registration key... that's totally
separate from this operation.... this only fixes the way dates are
handled.
